Corby and Brian met in January 2023 at Brian's favorite place, the gym. Corby kept trying to talk to Brian there because he doesn't wear headphones during his workout, but she quickly realized she shouldn't interrupt his workouts. Lessons learned, but she made it clear she was interested in him. Their first date was at Beefeaters in Southern Pines shortly after their gym encounters. They learned to travel together quickly after that, with their first trip being to the Daytona 500. Soon after that trip, she realized how much golf meant to him, so she began to learn how to play. They have shared many adventures since, traveling together and playing golf every chance they get. During the first year of dating, Corby was deployed for six months, while Brian retired from the military right before she left. After the deployment, they moved into their house together in Pinehurst. During their most recent trip to Wyoming, Brian asked Corby to marry him next to the grand geyser, on August 23, 2025. They are excited to celebrate their love with the people who mean the most to them in May!
